Çayda Çıra”, the Turkish folk dance of Central Anatolia, is performed by a young girl dressed in silver and gold embroidered kaftans dancing in the dark with burning candles in her hands. In “Silifke yogurt,” a folk dance of the southern Mediterranean, dancers assemble wooden spoons above their heads. “Sheikh Shamil”, the folk dance of eastern Turkey, is a well-dramatized Legend of the Caucasian hero. “Sword Shield” is a dance with swords and shields from the northwest of the country.
