Cappadocia Tour - 3 Days

For a tour of Cappadocia South, you will be picked up from your hotel with our special service after breakfast in the morning. Our tour will start between 09:00 and 09:30. Our tour will begin at Goreme Panorama, where you will take breathtaking photos and photograph the extraordinary landscape of Cappadocia. After that, we will visit Kaymaklı Underground City and move to Ihlara Valley, which is one of the Grand Canyons. After a walk in the Ihlara Valley, we will visit the ancient Greek village of Belisirma. We will eat lunch in Belisirma and then visit the Selime Monastery and return to the Cappadocia region. Our tour starts with Uçhisar Castle panorama . Our guide gives you information about Uçhisar Castle and then stop to take pictures around Uçhisar Castle. It is a deep river gorge that runs along the banks of the Melendiz River. Offering one of the most pleasant hiking trails in Cappadocia, the Canyon is 20 km long. After a walk in the valley, we will go to the village of Belisirma. Belisırma is a small village on the Melendiz River. It is an ancient Greek village founded at the foot of the Valley. Here we will have lunch to taste local food . Later, you will see the beauty of Selime Monastery, the largest religious structure in Cappadocia and a wonderful rock monastery. We’ll continue our next route with a panorama of Pigeon Valley to take beautiful photos. After a tour of the jewelry workshop and store, we will complete our tour.

The tour will begin by going to the village of Mustafapaşa, an old Greek village famous for its architecture. During the Ottoman Empire, its former name Sinassos (solar city) was one of the largest Greek settlements in Cappadocia until the early 20th century. The city is famous and remarkable for the ornate carved stonework of its houses throughout the region. Our next stop is the Keslik Monastery, which consists of 3 churches carved from the rock, dining hall, sleeping and living areas. The monastery attracts attention with being known as one of the rare iconoclastic examples of Cappadocia frescoes and was used until the end of the Ottoman Empire during the Byzantine period. Then we will proceed to the village of Taşkınpaşa, a small village of Cappadocia. We will see the Taşkınpaşa Madrasa (Theological School) and an old mosque built in the classical Seljuk style and examine its structures. The madrasa is the 14th in Konya, which has dominated this part of Anatolia for about 250 years. It was built by the karamanids, a century-old dynasty. In the village of Taşkınpaşa, we will taste local delicacies with lunch. After lunch, we will head to the ancient city of Sobessos, the only late Roman / early Byzantine settlement in Cappadocia. It is actually a Roman settlement from the 4th century AD. Besides other typical Roman buildings, we will see a 400 m2 meeting room whose main attraction is the beautiful mosaic floor. By visiting the excavation site, you will understand that finding the Roman ruins of this complexity is a lot you need to know about the history of Cappadocia. Christians are known to be hiding from Roman soldiers, but no evidence of Roman settlement is found. After visiting the excavation site, we will continue to Soğanlı Valley, a deep valley with interesting hiking trails. Soğanlı was once the third largest monastic center in the region and home to many cave churches and monasteries, most of which date back to the 9th and 13th centuries. Soğanlı is famous for its world-famous dolls that have become the symbol of the village. In the afternoon we will take a walk in the valley and enjoy the beautiful, untouched nature.

After your flight, before the landing time of your plane, our staff on duty will be waiting for you at the airport with a sign or tablet with your name written on it, after placing your suitcases in the vehicle, you will meet your guide and our tour will begin. Please make sure that the landing time of your plane at Kayseri Airport is before 08: 00 in the morning.
